I saw the pilot of Bionic Woman (at the Comicon in San Diego in July 2007)<br/><br/>I first didn&#39;t want to but since I wanted to go to the Heroes&#39; panel which was just after I had to sit through the presentation of the show and we (me and 6000 other people) watched the pilot.<br/><br/>Let me tell you … there wasn&#39;t much applause after it ended since it&#39;s really common.<br/><br/>The FX were really bad (they told us they&#39;d work on them), the story is SO uninteresting : she has an accident, she gets new body parts and she can jump from one building until the other…<br/><br/>no surprises, the characters are not really moving… everything is just plain boring..<br/><br/>I&#39;m quite sure this show will get canceled after a couple of episodes since there are far better series around.<br/><br/>More, at the end of the episode in San Diego, we were introduced to the actress (who seems to be nice), the producer and the director and… get what… they noticed people in the room didn&#39;t like it… more they tried to justify their choices and that the show was going to be much better…<br/><br/>well, I&#39;ve seen enough… and frankly I won&#39;t tune in to see the rest. I liked it. Its going to be fun to have some sci-fi fantasy to watch on regular network TV. I liked the actresses they have on the show and I&#39;m curious to see where they take the series. I&#39;m glad the Battlestar Galactica folks are moving on to other projects, this being one of them. And there are lots of action and fight sequences, along with a lot of heart I think you&#39;ll have a hit on your hands. Its certainly better than a lot of the other sci-fi that out there or produced overseas, sorry to the Dr. Who fans, but WTF? Its good to see new actors (Michelle Ryan) and other minorities, Asian, on TV. Katee Sackoff is always a barrel of fun to watch. I will be interested to see where this show wants to take us in terms of allegory.
